A short bio
Antonio Acquaviva is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Amsterdam in the Informatics Institute, within the Computational Science Lab. With a background in physics (BSc, MSc), he developed a strong interest in biophysics, computational physics, and biology. His research focuses on multiscale modeling of endothelial cell monolayers in health and disease, in close collaboration with Amsterdam UMC. While Antonio leads the modeling aspect, he is also actively engaging with experimental workâpart of a unique exchange where both Ph.D. candidates contribute to both modeling and experiments. His expertise spans computational biophysics, protein dynamics simulations, machine learning, and data analysis.
